Great post - I really am glad I took the time to read it! I like the last section "Don't Bother the Programmers". The last sentence in paragraph two of that last section, in fact, deserves an entire essay, as I think it touches on a subject that is critical to team-based work in this day and age. In my experience, it is utter negligence to NOT have regular meetings where the core team (regardless of discipline) is able to participate in steering the course of the product from week to week, and therefor gain a "global" view of the product being developed, share the responsibility and creative burden as much as possible, and gain insight into how the various disciplines (programming, art, design, audio etc.) perceive and solve problems, etc.
